Speaking of YG’s recent signing to Young Jeezy’s CTE imprint, take a listen to YG’s latest single “Ride For My Nigga” ft. ATL’s very own Rich Homie Quan (love that name, btw lol) and Jeezy himself.

Side note: RIP to the homie “D” ( the guy sitting in the back seat on the cover) he lived on the same block as me growing up on 89th and St. Andrews in L.A and was probably one of the first people I knew that was killed from gang violence.

Skeme gives us another acronym to add to our online vocal and this is probably one that I’ll be using on a daily basis from now on, lol.

Miley Cyrus Releases Racy Video for “We Can’t Stop”

June 19th, 2013 | By

Miley Cyrus is changing up her style for her upcoming album and going towards music that “feels black” –her words, not ours– with the release of her Mike Will produced single “We Can’t Stop”.

We all know that almost all the huge teen pop artists go through their “urban” phase, ala Just Timeberlake, Britney Spears, and now Justin Bieber, but some folks are not feeling Miley’s attempt especially with her recent obsession with twerking and such.

In her new video for “We Can’t Stop”, Miley puts on her gold grill AND twerks with a group of black girls in the mist of other random things like bunny costumes and mannequins.

We have to admit, the song very catchy and probably will be a huge hit for her, but is Miley trying too hard?

Watch the video above and let us know your thoughts!

YG is movin’ on up in the music world whether Def Jam is behind him or not and it looks like Young Jeezy will be helping him along the way.

We all know that YG’s debut album, “I’m 4rm Bompton”, has been pushed back more times than we can remember, and it seems like Def Jam just isn’t ready to put the appropriate time and effort into any of his releases.

In a new interview with Bootleg Kev, YG announced he will be partnering up with his Def Jam label mate, Young Jeezy, who is also the Senior VP of A&R over at Atlantic records, and has recently singed to his CTE (Corporate Thugz Entertainment) World Imprint.

YG explained to Bootleg Kev that Jeezy is stepping up to the plate helping him with the industry politics so that he can get his new album out asap.

Bout damn time.

The current king of West Coast Rap turned 26 yesterday and decided to bring in the special occasion with a throwback 80′s themed L.A skate party.

Kendrick Lamar and his body guard/friend TwoTeez dressed up in classic south central L.A 80′s fashion from head to toe and posed for photos in the signature L.A hood stance. Kendrick even threw on a short press n curl wig with his black and white red sox baseball cap and jacket.

K.Dot, who is an official 80′s baby (whoop!), completed his look with some customized black and white Nike Cortez skate shoes, while his manager Dave Free did the same with a pair of chucks.

The TDE crew all took the night off and had some fun at the skating ring. Take a look at some photo’s and video from the party below:
