[Video] Drake Takes Shots At Common During His Cali Christmas Performance

Was anybody else confused about Drake’s mini rant he went on at the end of his performance at Cali Christmas?
Well, keep reading because we may have a back story for ya!
Last night, Los Angeles radio station Power 106 held their annual ‘Cali Christmas’ concert at the Universal Amphitheater with Drake, Big Sean and J-Cole headlining the show.
The sold out concert was live streamed on the radio station’s website for the people like us who didn’t get to go ( The concert sold out before the even went on sale to the public -_-) and like you, we were baffled by Drakes mini rant he did at the end of his awesome performance.
To make a little more sense of it all, we have to go back to Big Sean’s set. He performed a medley of his hit’s ‘Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay’, ASS (Dance), My Last w/Chris Brown, and a surprise performance of Ye’s “Get em high’ with Chi town rapper Common.
This is where the ‘Beef’ is from.

If you haven’t been following all the rap beef’s that have been going on with Drake as of late, then you may have missed the one between him and Common . It seems like people may have overlooked Common’s little Jab at the Canadian rapper, since at the time Drake was going back & fourth with Ludacris over his diss song “Bada Boom”.
In November Common released a new song called ‘Sweet’ where he takes shots at rappers that sing in their music, which only could be either Kanye West, who is his close friend, or….Drake.
Common raps:
“Yall n*ggas man, y’all soft motherf*ckers/Singing all around me man, la la la/ You ain’t motherf*cking Frank Sinatra/Uh, lil’ bitch…./Sweet ass motherf*cker”
You may also want to note that around this time, Drake emulated Sinatra for the MTV VMAs promo which was being aired every 5 minutes on MTV. Hmm…
After Drake’s performance of his final song ‘Headlines’ he took some time to thank the audience, and said:
“I’d like to thank L.A and that whole west coast for showing me this mutha f**kin’ love. I will never stop doin’ this for ya’ll I don’t give a F**K if you got something to say to me, say it to my mutha f**kin’ face nigga, just because I sing I’m not no b**ch, so if you got something to say I’m right here. L.A I love you, you know what it is, I’ll see you soon! Take Care!”
Sounds pretty clear to me! *Shot’s fired*
