Hit-Boy pays homage to both Biggie and Pac in the new video for his single, East Vs. West. The track appears on his HITstory mixtape which was released this past August and in the video HB channels his inner Pac and Big to tell the story of the hip-hop beef that indirectly lead to their deaths.

Hit-Boy told tried to tell us about his huge track on Kendrick Lamar‘s debut album, Good kid, m.A.A.d city, but no one expected this!
Last year, Hit-Boy revealed that he wold be producing a track on K.dot’s album and declared the beat as ‘probably one of the best beats’ he’s ever done. He told his thousands of followers that this track would be BIGGER than the mega hit song, ‘Niggas In Paris’, that he produced for Jay-Z & Kanye West in 2011.
Ever since then, hip-hop heads have been eager to hear what that Kendrick x Hit-Boy collab would sound like and fans were in luck today as the radio rip of Kendrick’s “Backseat Freestyle” made it’s way online.
The bouncy uptempo track was definitely worth waiting for and I’m sure it will give Kendrick’s music even more attention than he’s currently getting.

And last but not least, Mr. Lupe Fiasco will be headlining the event and shutting the place down with an AWEsome show for fans.

It’s been a good year for Hit-Boy already, but 2012 is about to get even more better for the I.E producer. Last week it was announced that the producer turned rapper recently signed a management deal with Blueprint Group Management, the same people behind the careers of Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne.
Just a few days after Hit-Boy’s management announcement, he let his fans know that he would be having his very first concert in his hometown of Pomona, Ca. The 25-year-old producer will be performing most of the tracks from his “HITstory” mixtape and what better place to kick off his very first show other than his Inland Empire hometown.
Tickets went on sale this past Saturday via Ticketfly and will be held at the Glass House in Pomona. They’re only 12 bucks (around 20$ with all those ticketfly fees) and you can purchase them HERE.

Hit-Boy and his HS87 crew are back with their own remix to ASAP Rocky‘s single, “Goldie”. L.A producer/singer K.Roosevelt jumps on the track alongside Hit-Boy and the I.E’s Audio Push and gives us their spin on the track. Hit-Boy produced the original “Goldie”, so it’s only right that he gives us a cold ass remix.
